Yesterday we attended @fccbikeworks' fundraising event in support of their amazing community initiatives and to show the valuable partnership between TARC and the cyclist community. Statistics show only 10% in the nation either bike or walk to get to work. 75% of individuals are driving. ⁣ ⁣ We now have the perfect opportunity to have fewer personal vehicles on the road and more of the community ride-sharing, using TARC or riding bikes. Our mobility app allows you to plan your multi-modal trip from A to Z in real-time. Already have a bicycle? Each TARC bus is equipped with a rack that carries up to 3 bicycles, and has a passionate driver ready to assist if you need help loading. ⁣ ⁣ By merging the cyclist community and transit lovers, we create a more eco-friendly environment, stimulate more economic growth, and we change the paradigm of mobility as well as the future of Greater Louisville together.
