2021 Highlight: AACM/ACF | connect Premieres On October 30, 2021, the AACM’s Great Black Music Ensemble premiered new music by The Honourable Elizabeth A. Baker, Adegoke Steve Colson and Rudresh Mahanthappa in Chicago. The premieres were commissioned through our two year partnership with the Chicago-based, internationally-renowned Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) through our ACF | connect program, and the concert celebrated the visionary ensemble’s 55th anniversary.
