For this month’s Racial Equity Study Group, taking place September 9 at 1pm Central, we’ll be discussing Spike Lee’s 1989 film “Do The Right Thing”. Written, produced, and directed by Mr. Lee, the film was nominated for two Academy Awards. In 1999 it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress.
