Between October 2023 and April 2025, escalating hostilities have devastated agricultural production and #foodsystems across #Lebanon. A new report by Action Against Hunger, @oxfaminlebanon and @insecurityinsight reveals widespread destruction of farmland, displacement of farming communities, and a sharp rise in food insecurity. 🔹Farmland damaged by bombardments, fires, and white phosphorus contamination 🔹 Farmers displaced and unable to harvest 🔹 Supply chains cut off, restricting access to markets and food As of mid-2025, 1.24 million people are facing high levels of food insecurity — and over 82,000 people remain displaced in conflict-affected areas.
