Abby loves a 30 yard shot. Zillah loves to take them from distance. I could go down our roster and list player after player who can punish teams and create magic from dust by being a little selfish. This time last year, they may have even conceded one late in a match like this because of their desire to take on players in individual battles in inopportune moments and impatience in front of goal. It’s a balance between keeping the creativity alive, yet focused. It’s a fine line to walk. They are starting to samba on that line and it’s beautiful to see. Winning the opposing throw-in here, threading beautiful passes, fluid movement off the ball and finding the avenue inside the box to get the shot off, narrowly missing the finish 25 minutes into an intense 0-0 draw before we went ahead 2nd half.
