A whole week dedicated to offering and encouraging women and girls to participate in and enjoy activity !! From the 6th of October all schools, clubs and organisations brought in coaches, speakers and guests to allow women and girls to get more active and experience new sports and activities and I got behind them by creating “The rise and shine” workout given to all schools to participate in everyday ! I visited Arbroath high school and had the chance to speak to a few groups of their active girlies (last clip) and then watched a few sports they were taking part in before the end of the week colour run celebration. Im so proud of Scotland for pushing our girlies and giving them space to try new things and develop confidence in activity !
