Baby how you feeling ? I’m feeling good as hell ….
It’s funny, you know — I’ve actually been self-conscious about my body my entire life… and from all angles and for many reasons.
As a young girl into sports, I was teased at school and called “a man” for having strong athletic legs and little abs.
In college and uni, I felt ashamed and embarrassed for being stocky, overweight, unhealthy, and then ultimately unhappy.
Then when I threw myself into fitness to fix that weight issue, I was told I looked underweight, like a lollipop head… again, I was constantly made to feel small and scrutinized.
And even as I improved in sport, became an athlete, won a few medals and titles and even now — at my peak, at my strongest, happiest, most confident — over the last 12 years of falling in love with fitness… the comments haven’t stopped.
I’m still openly and loudly judged for my shape and size , i was laughed at for my passion in sports and to learn something new and be better … I cant tell...
