When we asked Dr. Tara Saggar what her favorite part of her job is she said, “I wake each morning and I don’t ask ‘will I make an impact today?’ rather I say ‘what impact will I make today?’ I recall in middle school starting as a candy striper in our local hospital and the best part of my day was delivering flowers to patients. Now as an internal medicine physician, I am able to bring my knowledge to connect and guide others, understand their needs and priorities, and balance this with their overall picture of health.
