Temple Sheriff’s Station would like to give a shout out to our South El Monte Special Assignment Team (SAO). This dedicated team is made up of five Temple Station deputies who proudly serve the City of South El Monte. These Temple Station deputies work closely with the City of South El Monte, South El Monte Animal Control, and local homeless outreach programs to address community needs. Their duties include conducting proactive traffic enforcement, contacting and assisting individuals experiencing homelessness, and carrying out special operations such as search warrants and surveillance. Through the strong partnership between Temple Station and the City of South El Monte, their combined efforts helped reduce crime throughout South El Monte in 2025. This success is a direct result of teamwork, proactive enforcement, and a shared commitment to public safety.
