Behind the Scenes at Temple Station Dispatch
At Temple Sheriff’s Station, our dispatch center is the backbone of our operations. Depending on the shift, dispatch may be staffed with one dispatcher, two call takers, and one watch deputy. These positions may be filled by dedicated law enforcement technicians or deputy sheriffs.
All 911 and business lines come directly to Temple Station. At times, due to system limitations, our dispatch center may also receive 911 calls intended for neighboring agencies such as the San Gabriel Police Department, Monterey Park Police Department, or Arcadia Police Department. Regardless, our team works quickly and professionally to ensure callers are connected with the appropriate resources.
