Akwaaba is the welcome we all deserve. Ghana feels like home in the most spiritual way. This time, I took the pilgrimage with chosen family and we are forever changed. Every Black American should visit to connect to our roots. When our ancestors were snatched from this land, we lost a part of ourselves and something also broke inside of our family on the continent.
