Honduran opposition lawmaker Gladis Aurora Lopez was injured on Thursday when an explosive device was thrown near her at the National Congress in Tegucigalpa.⁣ ⁣ According to the National Party statement, the blast detonated just "centimeters" from Lopez, wounding her.⁣ ⁣ The video shows the moment an object – thrown as Lopez was walking to speak with members of the media – exploding in very close proximity to her.⁣ ⁣ A social media image posted by the leader of the National Party’s congressional voting bloc showed Lopez with what appeared to be blood and bruising on her ear, neck and back.⁣ ⁣ #honduras #explosive
