Congratulations to Troy Schelke on being selected as the 2025 Detroit Lions High School Football Coach of the Year! Coach Schelke has spent the last 29 seasons as the head coach at Harbor Beach High School. The Pirates finished their season undefeated at 14-0 and defeated the Hudson Tigers 31-20 to win the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 8 football state championship, the school’s 2nd football state championship.
