The main space for the African American Cultural Center is called the Living Room for a reason: It’s home. @NCStateCHASS graduate student Korie Roane and out-of-state @NCStateEngr student Lexi Grant found community with the @aaculturalcenter, where they now cultivate community as student leaders. Inside Witherspoon Student Center — named for the first African American professor at NC State, Augustus Witherspoon — the AACC is home to study spaces, a library of Black-authored books, an art gallery, a meditation room and more.
