Escape is a very personal film for me. I tried to put into words some of the anxiety and stress I've been going through, told through the voice of my amazing wife. She's been my pillar through this and working together as a family, this project helped us come together. The message we wanted to share was one of self care; of making sure you take the personal time required to stay mentally healthy. Personal space isn't always easy to come by but together we've made it a priority to give each other the occasional break so that we can get through this together; healthy in mind, body, and spirit.
