Detectives with the Burglary and Fraud team have been investigating a recent mail theft in Valencia in which a male and female were observed stealing mail from multiple mailboxes within a neighborhood, but fled prior to deputy arrival. Through follow up investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspects and locate them. A male and female were arrested for identity theft, and remain in custody at this time. Help prevent becoming a victim of mail theft by checking your mailbox daily. Unsecured mailboxes?
