One day after delivering a defiant and at time confusing defense of the Oregon Liquor Commission’s handling of an internal investigation into top officials’ setting aside scarce Kentucky bourbon (seen here), Paul Rosenbaum resigned Thursday from his post as chair. Rosenbaum, an appointee of Gov. Kate Brown, announced his resignation late Thursday, saying he was asked to leave by Gov. Tina Kotek. He was appointed in 2017. In his announcement, Rosenbaum said he was told of the bourbon diversion investigation and the discipline that followed on Sept. 8.
