Video by bertiegregory | Jumping starts young in spinner dolphins. But why do they jump and spin? Display and communication is the leading theory. However, other species are known to leap in an attempt to remove parasites. If you look closely at the belly of this baby dolphin, you can see a little pink fish clinging on. Perhaps this dolphin was trying to slap it off? I used a gyrostabilized camera system to capture this behavior on a moving ocean. Filmed for my new show now streaming on disneyplus. #EpicAdventuresWithBertieGregory
