Congratulations to Hunt Beyond rider Angus Young who took the Highland Trail win after a nail-biting battle with fellow Beyond rider Manu Cattrysse. It was looking to be a sprint for the line before a slashed tyre halted Manus progress just seven miles from the finish. Angus and his Mason RAW completed the brutal 556-mile route in just three days, 7 hours and 25 minutes, looking to be a new course record for the route. An incredible performance on his comeback after having to scratch from last year's race due to a chest infection. In the women’s field Beyond rider Phillipa Battye came in second place after Alice Lemkes.
