There are some new followers on here, and some of you may know that before all this cooking, working out and nutrition, I used to be a gymnast. In fact, it was a part of my life for 22 years. It is the only thing I knew, it was the only I ever wanted, it was my whole identity. That is how people knew me, oh youâre the gymnast.â

Not only did the sport teach me how to be aware of my body, but it taught me struggle, it taught me life lessons. I went through victories and defeats, injuries, body image issues and heart break, but nothing feels better than working through and overcoming all the adversities you dealt with. I would not be the person I am today with out this sport, it shaped me in to who I am today. â
