~Post Season Reflection: The NFL is a world a lot of people don’t understand but at the same time it’s a worldly place to be at. People constantly telling you who you are and who you are not. This includes fans, coaches, players, media, & society. “You’re just a 6th rounder” “You’re just a special teamer” “You’re not big enough” “You’re not fast enough” “You’re always in the right spots” “You’re very lucky” “You’re not very athletic but somehow covering the best guys and always around the ball” “ You’re ______”
~ The person who is the biggest culprit is the person you look at in the mirror every morning. That’s where you win and lose. The world tries to mold you and tell you who you are daily. It puts labels on you to determine you’re value in the eyes of the league or the world. I learned on a deeper level that I win because of two choices.
