The Arizona State Women’s golf team is on the verge of accomplishing something truly great.
The Ladies team has won 4 times this season and finished in the Top 3 an impressive 4 times.
Not to be outdone by their male counterparts, the Lady Sun Devils went out and won their Home Event this weekend, the PING Invitational, by an astounding 20 strokes. The Men’s team won their home event, The Thunderbird Invitational, by 20 strokes, just 3 weeks earlier.
The team is shaping up to be quite the formidable force in women’s collegiate golf with players like Monica Vaughn
#15, Linnea Strom
#10 and Olivia Mehaffey
#5, respectively in the Women’s Official World Golf Rankings.
