For the 2023 club season, we have teamed up with buddycheckforjesse to raise awareness for mental health in youth sports. Buddycheck for Jesse was started by Dr. Stu Gershman in memory of his son, Jesse Short-Gershman, who died by suicide in 2014. Green is the colour for mental health and throughout the season, clubs will wear green to show support and recognize the importance of mental health. We'll send out more information to coaches and club directors on getting involved, along with some free BCFJ swag to show your support.
