The Red Pandas are branching out 🦊 In the coming days, the Red pandas will be relocated temporarily to a new habitat in the Africa Savanna (between the Lions and Hyenas) so that construction can begin on their new world-class, state of the art habitat. Following construction and once relocated back to their existing Eurasia Wilds home, this new space will showcase two indoor day rooms, connected by an overhead tunnel allowing the red pandas to freely move between indoor and outdoor spaces 🐾 With increased public viewing and temperate indoor spaces, the expanded habitat will allow for year-round guest experiences and greater welfare and enrichment for both Kalden and Poppy who call your Toronto Zoo home.
