Today we honor the thin green line standing guard for America’s wildlife, communities, and nation.
From predawn patrols on remote refuges to inspecting cargo at ports of entry, law enforcement professionals with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service bring courage and commitment to every corner of conservation work. Their skill in investigating wildlife crime, protecting public lands, supporting national security, and keeping refuges safe for visitors makes a lasting difference for our shared natural heritage.
Our team is made up of Federal Wildlife Officers, Special Agents, Wildlife Inspectors, and support staff and they share a single focus: protect wildlife and uphold the rule of law so future generations can enjoy the wild places that define America. Today we say thank you for holding the line.
