This Earth Day, we are shining a spotlight on Horticulturist Matt Friebel. 🌎 🌺 Matt joined the team at Torresdale last summer and has since been focused on beautifying the gardens and planters around the Club. His plans will be unfolding all season long as the annuals and perennials bloom and brighten the gardens. “Keeping the gardens full of seasonal colors is my goal, one season at a time.” Currently Matt works out of local greenhouses, but as improvements are made, there will be opportunity to grow on site. His work is on display across the property and can even be found in a mojito from the bar. He’s looking forward to expanding his contribution to the dining experience by growing herbs and greens for MacAlester’s in the coming seasons.
