Torresdale’s No. 8 is a classic par 4 measuring 505 from the tips. Trees, Byberry Creek, an old farm house pre-dating the course, and long fescue grass are all in your way of making par. Extensive tree work has opened this hole up in recent years but don’t be fooled, birdie is a rare occasion on 8. This green was originally short of the creek, but was lengthened later when Grant Avenue was expanded in response to shortening the 17th hole.
Comment on this post if you broke par on No. 8 last year!
