Had a very hollywood weekend with both @green4ema and @perfectworldfdn where I got to straddle the line between entertainment, social impact, and storytelling 😍🌏💅🏽 #browngirlgreen With @green4ema I got to be a presenter for the Environmental Media Association’s awards ceremony, where I presented the best climate comedy storyline - with the winner being @abbottelemabc ❤️😁 and y’all know I love climate comedy!!! Need to watch asap😁🤗 And with @perfectworldfdn I was invited to speak alongside some incredible folks like @dnice @_moniquecoleman and @reshmasaujani about how we carved out our own unique career paths as creatives and impact-driven leaders in our respective industries. Why did I love all of this? Because for me, this is how we get more conversations around climate into the mainstream- reaching crowds and audiences that might not be in the science/ policy/ activism echo chamber, and to share stories and conversations that connect unusual actors and paths together.
