A spark of joy before this garden turned to a crisp lol. I just gathered the last peppers this morning (the red ones pictured in the cover photo of this reel). They are some survivors. Between the droughts and the floods and the winter storms, the climate crisis is right in our face. My summer garden was yet another reminder of that. I saw bees less than 10 times overall. I’m mentally preparing for whatever may come this winter in Texas, and will be gathering supplies to be prepared soon (food, water, essentials).
