The Polestar 3 has officially been revealed. The fully electric SUV will arrive in the US in late 2023, with prices expected to start at $83,900. That’s for the dual-motor AWD version with 489 hp and a 4.9 second 0-60 mph time. For an extra $6,000 buyers can get the Performance Package which will boost power up to 517 hp and lower the 0-60 mph to 4.6 seconds. Estimated EPA range is around 300 miles (or 270 for the Perf Pack) meanwhile 270 kW charging will be possible. Both versions of the Polestar 3 feature a 111 kWh (107 kWh usable) battery. Inside there’s a 14.1” central infotainment display based around Android Automotive OS. Production will begin in Polestar’s Chengdu, China plant next year meanwhile manufacturing will also take place at Volvo’s Ridgeville, South Carolina plant from mid-2024.
