Our hybrid homeschool students were able to do some investigating this week! We spotted a Chafer Beetle Grub during lunch! We learned that in March, the grub will rise to the surface to feed on grass and roots. We discussed why the grub rose to the surface earlier than expected (maybe the big rain storm we had brought it to the surface?) We covered the grub with grass in hope that it would be hidden from birds!
