Children’s has long been the region’s leader and innovator in pediatric cardiology and heart surgery. 55 years ago this month, heart patient Kim became the first child in Nebraska and the third nationally to receive a pacemaker at Children’s. Last year, coming full circle, Kim joined our Criss Heart Center team.
