For troops bravely serving their country during the Vietnam War, #RedCrosser Margo Looney knew how important it was to have a balance of work and play. She served as a recreational worker and was one of more than 600 women who were part of the Red Cross Supplemental Recreational Activities Overseas (SRAO) program. They provided troops with "a touch of home" and ran recreation centers where service members could enjoy playing pool, card games and ping-pong. These Red Crossers would also travel by helicopter, truck and jeep to support troops in remote locations that were hard to reach.
