Marshall’s near perfect season comes to an end with a heart breaking 3-2 loss to #2 ranked Chavez High School. A quick goal from Chavez from the penalty box gave them an early lead. Marshall responded with 2 unanswered goals and led the rest of the first half. In the dwindling moments of the first half, Chavez managed to sneak in a last minute goal to level up the score 2-2 heading into halftime. Chavez eagerly looked for the leading goal for most of the second half while Marshall looked for any opportunity to counter attack. Once again, Chavez converted in the dying moments of the game. The game ended what was a spectacular match for both sides. 

Marshall’s playoffs hopes have come to an end. They finish their season with an overall record of 12-3-2 while still remaining undefeated in the Northern League.
