So most of what I post is sports because I don’t often shoot breaking news stuff. It’s something that you really have to be in the right place at the right time to shoot. It was hot today in Phoenix and in the suburb of Apache Junction there were two structure fires. I was in town today when both fires broke out. A lot of photography is luck, or the stars aligning or the universe. It’s that way for news photography, but even more with sports. This is probably my favorite frame of this afternoon.
