Celebrating Black History Month at Houston Christian University! This month, we take the time to recognize and honor the significant contributions of African Americans to our university community. Today, we start by highlighting the incredible Dr. Mary White. Dr. White serves as the Teaching & Learning Sciences Department Chair in the HCU College of Education and Behavioral Sciences (hcu_coebs) and is a true leader in education. As a bilingual educator, she has made a difference in the lives of countless students in charter, public, and private school settings. Her current action research project is focused on establishing a School Library in San Andreas Island, furthering her commitment to education equity.
