Definitely used humor to cope :) I don’t think I realized how much trauma my eczema caused me within that three year span. It didn’t hit me until I watched the documentary for the first time. Watching these videos kind of sting only because while I’m laughing or making light out of the moment, well you know why people make jokes during hard times…..relieved the intensity of what I was experiencing mentally & physically and numbed the acceptance towards my condition. And it’s now all hitting me at once. But all I feel is gratitude and relief.
