Today we join the many veterans, local Colorado communities, and elected officials in thanking President Biden and his administration for designating the Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument. We celebrate this newest protected public land, a site that honors our military's legacy and the history of the ski industry. We hope that the Camp Hale–Continental Divide National Monument is just the beginning of President Biden’s monumental and conservation legacy and he continues to protect more of our lands and waters to memorialize the history of important places, while also addressing the intersecting climate and biodiversity crises.
