Police are investigating an “unattended death” in the Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve, located near UC Berkeley’s Clark Kerr Campus, according to UCPD Sgt. Jacob Westlie. An unattended death is when a dead body is discovered by itself, according to Kendra Strey, communication and outreach manager for the East Bay Regional Park District.
