Family members, friends and corporate leaders are gathered at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday for the funeral service of Mable Tenn, a pioneering businesswoman and former director of GraceKennedy. Among those in attendance are GraceKennedy Group CEO Frank James, who was seen greeting Tenn’s sister Yvonne, as well as attorneys-at-law Carlton Williams and Marc Williams. Tenn, who joined GraceKennedy in 1952 and later became the first woman to serve on the company’s board in 1972, is being remembered as a trailblazer whose legacy helped reshape leadership opportunities for Jamaican women.
