Thousands travel to Temecula, California for the 2026 Pechanga Powwow. Over the weekend, the Pechanga Band of Indians hosted their annual powwow at the Pechanga Resort Casino, welcoming dancers, drum groups, families, and visitors from across Turtle Island. Known as one of the largest indoor powwows in Southern California, the gathering is held shortly after the winter solstice each year — and for many, marks the first powwow of the year.
