“To make a difference you have to make an impact” When I first started this foundation it was honestly just a cool way to give back and a play off my last name OkuGo. Than when I finally decided to actually do something I quickly realized this non profit stuff ain’t no joke in terms of legalities. Took some time to really brainstorm what it was I really wanted to help and give back. Our mission is to provide resources for kids from low income backgrounds to better not only themselves but their communities. Through athletic, educational, and social programs we plan to do just that. This past weekend was our first official kick off clinic. We provided free training to over 80 kids, raised money and brought in donations and school supplies for the local community center. This post isn’t on that look at what I’m doing hype but more about everyone else pictured and not pictured who helped bring this to life.
