Angry about Wednesday’s Verizon outage? To make up for it, the carrier plans on issuing a $20 credit to affected customers.  The $20 is supposed to cover “multiple days of service,” according to Verizon; the outage itself lasted for about 10 hours. For perspective, AT&T offered a $5 credit for a February 2024 outage that lasted for at least 12 hours.  “You will receive a text message when the credit is available,” Verizon added. “This credit isn’t meant to make up for what happened. No credit really can. But it’s a way of acknowledging your time and showing that this matters to us.” #verizon #verizonoutage #technews #telecom 📸: Gabby Jones/Bloomberg via Getty Images/VerizonNews/X
