After his retirement from baseball last year, Buster Posey is taking on a new role with his former team-- part owner. He is the first former player to join the organization as a principal partner and member of the Board of Directors. He played his entire 12-year career with the Giants and is now the youngest of the other 30 principal partners at 35 years old.
It's a good move for Posey's business portfolio, and one that isn't often seen in the MLB from former players. "I believe that I can learn so much by surrounding myself with business leaders who have been at the top of their respective industries" said Posey last week.
