This should never have happened. Ciji Graham, mother of a 2-year old son, died in North Carolina after doctors were afraid to provide standard medical care because she was pregnant. She suffered for days with a dangerous heart condition. An abortion could have saved her life or allowed doctors to treat her without fear. Because of abortion restrictions, doctors are denying or delaying care for high-risk pregnant patients. These laws don't protect life, they put moms' lives in danger. Ciji should still be here.
