UCLA women's soccer player Reilyn Turner has signed an NIL deal with Nike, becoming their first college student athlete partner. The reigning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year's agreement is the first direct athletic brand sponsorship of its kind.⁣ ⁣ Many of the initial sponsorship deals signed by other college athletes have tended to be signed with more recognizable players with large social media followings.
