Taijuan Walker has joined in on the NFT craze. We posted last week about Gronkowski being the first pro-athlete to have an NFT (non-fungible token) auction, and he was quickly followed by Patrick Mahomes and now MLB player Taijuan Walker. Walker recently completed a five-day auction of a one-of-one digital trading card that sold for around $4,000. He says that he will be hosting more auctions soon and that the Mets have also shown interest in conducting their own NFT auctions in the future.⁣ ⁣ Auctioning off digital trading cards is a very new side hustle that athletes are only beginning to take seriously. Walker, whose top focus remains growing as a baseball player, will continue to sell NFTs to supplement his baseball salary and share NFT revenue with charities.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ [source: @outkickthecoverage]⁣ ⁣ #afrugalathlete #TaijuanWalker #Mets #MLB #NFT #investing #finance #moneymanagement
