Greg Olsen, long-time Panthers tight end who is now a part of the Seahawks, is starting his own podcast called TE1 in partnership with Blue Wire, a sports podcast company. TE1 will feature long-form interviews with some of football's past and present tight end stars such as Mike Ditka, Shannon Sharpe, Ozzie Newsome and George Kittle.⁣ ⁣ For Olsen, speaking/interviewing is in his wheelhouse. He has called games for Fox and commentated in studio for major sports networks. Now adding podcasting to his arsenal, Olsen is laying the foundation for another sustainable avenue of income for when he hangs up the cleats.⁣ ⁣ Athletes and sports commentators/analysts have started their own podcasts with great success and demand.
