With more snow in the forecast for Saturday night, Multnomah County and the city of Portland will open seven emergency warming shelters at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023. The shelters had been open Friday night but most of them closed during the day with Saturday’s warmer temperatures. The county said the shelters welcomed 849 guests Friday night. Multnomah County Library branches and the Lloyd Center shelter are open during the day Saturday as warming options.
