Brighton-based charity The Sussex Beacon has announced plans to become the UK’s first dedicated LGBTQ+ hospice with an HIV specialism, aiming to provide inclusive end-of-life care for people who have often faced discrimination within healthcare settings. The project is designed to support LGBTQ+ patients with complex or life-limiting illnesses, as well as their partners, chosen families, and carers.
